What is better for sensitive skin, 10kt gold or 18kt over sterling silver?

Posted on December 16th, 2009 by admin

Hello I am planning on buying a necklace and I have a metal (nickel) sensitivity. Do you think 10kt would be better or 18kt over sterling silver? What is 10kt gold usually mixed with now? Can the 18kt gold rub off of the sterling silver easily? Please help! Thank you :)
It is better to get 18kt gold and it is the purest form of gold it doesn’t cause allergy to sensitive skin.
