Beyond Diamond Glaze - DG3 Art Gel Tutorial - Halloween Pendants
Posted on August 12th, 2009 by admin
Digital Artist John W. Golden walks you through the process of using DG3 Art Gel and silver plated pendant trays to create your own jewelry. John introduces his line of pre-printed graphic sheets in this tutorial. There is even an experiment with glow in the dark Mod Podgeâ„¢, though the results were not filmable (ambient lighting too low).
DG3 is a new (released 2008) clear glaze from Judikins, the makers of Diamond Glaze.

Really great tutorials, they’re very helpful. I have a couple questions.
How do you make graphics like the ones in the video?
Is there another type or brand that is similar to the DG3 you used?

Hi John
I am dying to get my hands on DG3, any idea where I might find it? It isn’t on the Diamond Glaze site yet. I have asthma, so I can’t work with resins.
Love your videos, very thorough. It might be nice to see your smiling face at some point, you’re a mystery man!
Warm regards,
