Leather Cord Slip Knot for Necklaces

Posted on July 19th, 2009 by admin

Stari Girl Jewelry makes it easy to learn jewelry making. This is simply two square knots. The trick is to tie the knot using only one piece of leather, with the other piece “sliding” through the bottom of the knot. The length of the cord is up to you. In general, if you want it to be anywhere from a choker style or a mid chest length, you would use about 18-20 inches. However, when you want wear it choker length, when you tighten it, the knots might show on the sides of your neck. Best way is to measure the cord around your neck before you cut it.
