How do I clean my Tiffany Necklace without taking it to the store or buying a special cloth?

Posted on June 30th, 2009 by admin

I need to clean my Tiffany necklace but I don’t know what to clean it with. I don’t want to go buy a special cloth or liquid to soak it in. So, if you know of any way to clean it that won’t damage it please tell me.

Be sure you use non- abrasive toothpaste! Over time, this might cause damage. [ Buy one that is NOT for tartar/ plaque/whitening ].

any sort of silver cleaner should work. a jewler probably sells bottles of it for a couple bucks.

They should of given you a silver polishing cloth with your bracelet. Any jewelry store would have one for a few dollars.

I would do it with a toothbrush and some toothpaste. I clean my diamond stud earrings that way all the time and they come out gleaming and beautiful :)
