How can i register a company name for a jewellery selling business?

Me and my partner are setting up a jewellery selling business, we are a bit unsure of the things we need to do to get started. We have a name so we need to register the name but we are not sure which website to go to for this so it is legitimate. There seem to be so many. Also do we need to register with companies house? Any advise would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

you need to go to your local small business offices and register your business name and get a business license, if you are doing this from home it should be an easy thing to handle, less than $200 bucks. Good luck!

  1. You only register with Companies House if you are going to incorporate. You need to take legal advie as to whether this is right for you.
    There is no other register of business names - you can trade under whatever name you want as a partnership.
