i love pincstuffs charms! there are too cute!
last christmas i wanted to make personalized gifts for my friends so i decided to make cell phone charms! i made each charm look like the girl that i made her for. it was so cute.
my inspiration actually came from a devianart project.these are great gifts!
they take a little work, practice, and patience but they are worth it.
its a little more difficult than other projects but nothing worth while ever comes easy rite? ^-^
i used…
fimo clay (tan)
sculpey gloss
assorted acrylic paints
regular wire (for the hook)
toothpick
everything i use can be found at micheals! yay!

*i changed the name to chibi charms(chibi means little) at the last second bcuz my sister said mini ppl charms sounded dumb*

to help keep the …
to help keep the shape of your pieces when sticking the toothpicks into them- pop them into the freezer for about 5 minutes. Since polymer clay is more pliable when it is warmed up, it becomes easily moldable when you work it for a while. If you stick it in the freezer, it cools it back down so that you can easily stick the toothpick in, without losing the shapes of your body or head. I’m still learning with clay but that is a good trick that I learned!
