How do I clean the gunk out of silver metal costume bracelet?

It’s a wide cuff bracelet of hammered silver colored metal.
I’ve only worn it 3 times then it sat in a drawer. There’s a film of gunky stuff that makes it dull and it doesn’t go away by wiping wit a dry or damp kleenex.
What can I use to clean it with, please? It’s not real silver, just costume jewelry. Thanks.
I use toothpaste to clean jewelry (even my wedding rings) Makes it shiny. Just give it a good scrub with toothpaste and old toothbrush.
It’s contact with your skin oils that are making it oxidize/darken like that. Just clean it after you take it off at night every time you wear it.

use a toothbrush to scrub it and soak it in some mouthwash or windex

try windex, works great, rinse with cold water efterwards, then pat dry on paper towel
