I have a beautiful, 3 row, large sterling silver bracelet. It was given to me by someone close however due to our failing economy I need to pawn it, and I wanted to find out the retail value of it first, so I can see if perhaps selling it on the street would get more for it. Does anyone know a good site or something to find out how much it would be?
And, if you are going to be mean about your answer (donald) do not answer this, as I will report you for harrassment (Donald). I woud rather hear from people who dont have mouths full of nasty stuff. Thank you.
Have you thought of taking it to a nice jewelry shop and asking them? They should have someone who appraises jewelry there. That would be my thought. If they want you to leave it, just ask them for a guesstimate of value. Good luck.
How do I find retail value of a large sterling silver bracelet?

What is the best way to get blue charms in runescape?
Posted on August 31st, 2009 by admin
What is the best monster to kill for blue charms. I’m low in summoning and I need more blue charms. So what is the best to kill?
Well blue charms are rarest charm drop of all. If you are looking to train Summoning then go for crimson charms. If you have ancients then you should go to rock lobsters on waterbirth island as you can safe them, attack multiple at a time, and they drop 2 crimson charms when they drop them at all. If that doesn’t work for you then go to Shadow Warrios in the Legends guild or if you have really high combat check out waterfiends.
Does anyone know the approximate value of a Gorham 1979 14k Gold Snowflake?
Posted on August 31st, 2009 by admin
Its in the box, i dont think its ever been used and its in excellent condition.
It depends on the weight. Take it somewhere like a jewelry store and ask them to weigh it to get the gram weight. Then:
24K is pure gold, 18K is 75% gold, 14K is 58% gold etc. Given an approx spot gold price of $1000/oz., scrap value of One (1) gram of gold is as follows:
10K $12.67 per gram.
14k $17.49 per gram
18K $22.64 per gram
24K $30.93 per gram
I checked a few things selling on ebay. They are going for roughly about the same prices as shown in the above table.
So you need to weigh the item first, then do the math using the table above.
What jewelry would be best suited for green dress?

What jewelry would be best suited for green cocktail dressing, I would be going to a party & can’t decide if to wear silver or gold jewelry with it. Any advice would be appreciated.
If you take my advice, I would suggest you to wear silver or white gold jewelry. silver or white gold jewelry will definitely complement your green cocktail dress quite well. Try it

How do you get the stink out of necklaces?

What happens to the original picture if engrave it onto a silver necklace?
Posted on August 31st, 2009 by admin
So i’ve been planning to get a picture engraved onto a silver necklace pendant kind of thing.
I was wondering if i were to give them a picture would i receive the picture back like it was given ? :S
How much does one cost? ( average )
thxx.
You should probably ask if they return pictures. Most likely they will, but sometimes they don’t.
If all else fails, get a copy of the picture with either a copy machine or a scanner or something, and give them the crappier copy.
I got just a very small nametag engraved for $12, I would guess that a picture would be at least thirty dollars. Engravers charge different prices by store, by item, etc.
What are the dangers of not wearing a silver earring?
Posted on August 31st, 2009 by admin
I got my ear pierced about 6 weeks ago, then changed it to a black stud. The one i had in was like a silver hypoallergenic one, but apparently i should take the black one out at night, and not wear it all the time, is that true?
it depends on whether you’re allergic or not.
if you’ve got your piercings 6 weeks ago, they must have healed by now, so there should be no question of infection from that. but some people react badly to some earrings; it feels scratchy and sometime your skin peels etc.
if you feel fine, then you’re not one of those people. but if you’re allergic, you should wear gold or hypoallergenic earrings most of the time and the other ones only for short periods of time.
i personally can’t even wear normal silver for a long time. so i got white gold earrings which i wear on a regular basis and then change to other kinds if and when i need them. but i never sleep with those overnight.
Where can I buy a nice charm bracelet where I can put on the charms myself?
Posted on August 31st, 2009 by admin
I used to have a charm bracelet where I had to go to the jeweler’s for them to put on each new charm. I want a bracelet where I can do this myself. No Claire’s please! I like nicer jewelry. silver base bracelet. Colorful or silver charms. I like Pandora and Trollbeads. Which one do you like better and why? I also want suggestions of other types of charm bracelets besides pandora and trollbeads.
I’d go with pandora , if your only wanting silver they are pretty cheap & they are so much more secure than charm bracelets we all used to have when we were younger , my old charm bracelet only has one charm on it that isn’t broken from being caught on things or isn’t filthy .
I like the pandora bracelets because a lot of their charms are really out of the box & you don’t often see ordinary charms like that . there are also a lot of places that sell look-alike charms & theres no harm in having a couple look-alikes . I’m going to buy the look-alike pineapple cause I think it looks better than the proper pandora one . lol .
right now so many independent jewellers are trying to compete with pandora so you can buy charms in so many places .

Muslims is it right to believe in precious stones, and wearing them in rings and pendants?
Posted on August 31st, 2009 by admin
Do you think it is correct, that you should wear a stone in a pendant around your neck, thinking it will benefit you and bring you good luck. Or for any other reasons for example it will prevent harm, or control your anger.
Does Islam permit this?
No. It’s the worst sin - shirk. Because you are placing your trust on an object that can not benefit you when you should only be placing your trust in Allah (swt). You can wear something around your neck if it’s not there to protect you or bring you good luck - basically if you’re wearing it because you like it and only because of that. Objects don’t have any power and can not help you in any way, so why would you rely on them?
So the answer is no, Islam does not permit this.
