What is 14k gold worth per ounce? I have 2 ounces and need cash. Dont want to get ripped off. Let me know asap?

I have 14k gold bracelets. I weighed them and they are right at 2 ounces total. What is 14k gold worth per ounce?

I already spoke to one guy and he said 400 per ounce for 14k. Is this right or is he trying to rip me off?

24 Karat gold is about 1000 us dollars per ounce on the world markets. 14 karat gold is 14/24 pure gold which is .585 so it would stand to reason that you would get about 585 dollars.
I doubt you would be able to get that on the market. If you can get 400 per ounce take it. That is a fair deal.
