		<description>It depends on the weight. Take it somewhere like a jewelry store and ask them to weigh it to get the gram weight.  Then: 

24K is pure gold,  18K is 75% gold, 14K is 58% gold etc. Given an approx spot gold price of $1000/oz., scrap value of One (1) gram of gold is as follows: 

10K $12.67 per gram.
14K $17.49 per gram
18K $22.64 per gram
24K $30.93 per gram

I checked a few things selling on ebay. They are going for roughly about the same prices as shown in the above table.
