Looking to buy a gold chain between 10k to 14k only have so much to work with what kind of deal could i find?

Posted on May 29th, 2010 by admin

I would like to get a gold chain between 10k and 14k. I have 400 to work with I don’t mind if the chain is second hand has to be real. I would like a one between 17 and 23 grams in weight. If i spend 400 would that be enough to make a purchase on something like this?

…Robert, I just called up a search here for 10K-14K gold chains: http://www.WatchCount.com/?uqsrc=manm&uqkw=gold%20chain%20%2810k%2C11k%2C12k%2C13k%2C14k%29&uqcat=281&ac=ya.ctu&tc=ya.ctu#serp

I’m seeing a mixture of both new and used, white gold, yellow gold, rope style, chain link style, necklace, bracelet, etc. There’s also a link near the bottom of that page for even more search results…

Hope that helps! :)

I found a ring with 14k along with a triangle with the letters HR inside. Any ideas?

Posted on May 23rd, 2010 by admin

It has 3 stones that are presumably diamonds. I understand that the 14k means 14 carat gold but I haven’t had it appraised yet. just curious if anyone has come across the triangle with letter before.

Dear Friend

Diamond has a unique characteristic of reflecting light by total internal multiple reflection. The cut and finish decides the quality of the diamond. I am also that much aware about these specifications. Please go through online. You will get a number of sites providing valuable information. Recently I searched
http://www.diamondrings.co.za/index.aspx . It is a marvelous site offering you a fabulous list of services like information, price list, new metals& alloys, new designs, designer collection and lot more. Just have a look on that
Best Wishes

How much would you say a 14k gold ring with 6 diamonds is worth?

Posted on May 4th, 2010 by admin

The ring is as thin as a wedding ring towards the bottom but at the top, it is much much thicker. It sort of has a gold structure where the diamonds are set. It also has about 5 or 6 diamonds.

So how much do you figure this can be worth? It was custom made 22 years ago.

a value of a normal jewelry pc ( not a brand name jewelry ) is consisted of following:

1. gram of gold. the cost of 14K gold will be: today’s gold price x (14/24), plus labor, management expense, ,,,

2. cost of diamonds. the cost of diamonds depends on the carat/color/cut/clarity of diamonds.

3. labor fo rthis pc.

4. management expense, profit rate,

if u could give us the above information, then we can give u an estimated price. if u could send a pic. it is much more helpful!

good luck!

What does WAL 14K printed inside a ring mean?

Posted on April 30th, 2010 by admin

I know 14K means 14 karat gold, but what does the WAL mean? I want to sell this ring and am wondering if the WAL impacts the price at all.

some stores stamp the rings with the "code" for example Zales puts ZAL inside their rings..
Where did you get it from.. that might help identify this code.

Hope this helps !

How much is a 14k silver ring worth?

Posted on April 28th, 2010 by admin

I found a silver ring about a year ago while walking to my grandmother’s house, and I haven’t look at it until now. Engraved on the inside of the ring is "14k (TW) Camelot Just between you and me". I showed it to my mother and she said that it is possibly a man’s wedding ring, which, it does appear to be. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate of how much it may be worth if I were to, say, pawn it, or something of the sort.

As the previous responder answered, the ring is most likely 14kt white gold and not silver. Silver would usually be hallmarked with .925 or .800 or Sterling Silver.

14kt white gold has a raw gold value of about $21.50 per gram.

A pawn shop would pay about 30% - 40% of that value.

I’m not talking about selling on cash4gold! I may post my gold chain on Craigslit. The chain is 22 grams 14k ..I bought it for $1300 in 2006 but I know the value of gold increased a lot since then. How much do you think I should sell for?

You can get a price check from the professionals at Empire Gold:

What would you rather have a gold chain 14k around 20 grams or nice computer any brand of choice?

Posted on February 13th, 2010 by admin

If i told you I would purchase you one or the other what one would you want?

Survey question answers will help me make a decision for my self!

Gold is appreciating.
Technology always depreciates.

Enjoy the chain now, sell for profit later, then buy a better computer later for same price.

How much is this 14k gold chain?

Posted on February 8th, 2010 by admin

I have a necklace that is 14k gold, it is a 24" chain, and it has a cross with a diamond in the center of it. The cross is about an inch long, and about a half an inch in width. Also, the diamond is about the size of this symbol * I was just curious, I found it in my basement so I thought I might ask. It is in perfect condition. Also, the chain is a twisted rope style.

it depends on the diamond carat setted in the cross. this is the major value which finalize the cost of the cross!

the diamond carat is stamped ont he pc: xxxct.

pls le us know this information then we could give u the estimated cost.

i m a jeweler from china. u r welcome to contact me if u have any quesitons about jewelry.
